Meet with others in your area who are interested in promoting the Pro Marriage Amendment. All eyes are on California right now, & they need our help!
You might be asking, "What does this amendment in California have to do with us here in Oklahoma?"
Plenty. This case is setting precedent for many states around the country who, like California, may have had a voter supported law to protect marriage as between 1 man & 1 woman.
The California Supreme Court decided that this law was unconstitutional, and literally re-defined marriage as between Party A & Party B, without residential restrictions.
Thousands of non-traditional marriages are being legalized in California, and the agenda is for these individuals to return to their home states a file countless cases regarding benefits, adoption, custody, divorce and estate/inheritance within their state judicial system.
Any favorable rulings on their behalf will set precedent that will make bans on same sex marriage unconstitutional in those other states. These laws will be reversed, as in California.
We must first support a state constitutional amendment in California, then in other states, & lastly the US Constitution.
